Below are two pictures of Laddie’s father whose racing name was Dominator but who went by the name Dane in his private life. He was a top US champion considered one of the best of all time. Guess in this case the apple did fall far from the tree, at least where racing was concerned.

You can sorta see the family resemblance here but unlike Laddie, Dominator has the prominent white strip of fur down his chest.
